Information we collect
- Account details such as email and authentication metadata (including Google sign-in when you choose it)
- Usage tied to your account when you use signed-in features (for example report runs or URL ingestion requests)
- Technical logs needed to operate and secure the service (IP, user-agent, error traces)
How we use information
To authenticate you, provide the idea engine, attribute metered usage, troubleshoot issues, and improve StartWise. We do not sell your personal data.
Authentication providers
Sign-in is powered by Supabase Auth. If you use Google, Google receives authentication data according to Google's policies and returns an identity token to establish your StartWise session.
AI providers
Chat and report features may send prompts and retrieved corpus context to configured LLM providers. Do not submit secrets or sensitive personal data you would not want processed by those providers.
Data storage
Production accounts and persisted research data may live in Supabase (or equivalent cloud infrastructure). Local or memory-only modes may not retain data across restarts.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of account-related data. Contact support@startwise.app or visit the Help Center.
Policy updates
We may update this policy; material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
